Registrations are accepted exclusively through this page.

The status of your registration is always available through your personal myFISV2012 page. This also includes confirmation of your payment and details of your abstract submission.

Registration fees

The Congress dinner on Tuesday, 25 September, is not included in the fee. If you wish to attend, please indicate it during your registration and add € 35 to the registration fee when processing your payment.

NB: Your registratoin fee depends on the effective date of payment, not when you register; please take this into consideration, especially if your administration is handling the payment through a lengthy bureaucratic procedure.

Note 1.
To benefit from the "Junior" registration fee, participants must fall in one of the following categories: undergraduate students (studenti di laurea), Ph.D. students (dottorandi), trainees (tirocinanti gratuiti), fellows (borsisti, assegnisti di ricerca). No other categories can benefit from a Junior registration fee. If you do not fall in one of the listed categories, please do not enquire about the possibility of paying the reduced fee: you must register as a Regular participant.

To benefit from this discount, a confirmation must be provided by the direct supervisor (further details are available during registration procedure).

Participants who wish to register on site and benefit from a Junior registration fee must present a paper copy of a letter of verification by their supervsor; in this letter, it must be clearly indicated a) that the participant falls in one of the listed categories, and b) that he/she is not eligible for any local funding.

Note 2.
Online registrations are closed after 13 August 2012. After this date, only on site registrations are possible, at the increased prices indicated.

On site, please note that only cash payments are accepted.

Payment

Upon registration, a confirmation e-mail is sent to you; this message contains, amongst other information, a reference number. Please do not process your payment without this reference number—thank you for your cooperation.

Payment is possible by credit card or bank transfer. You have to access your personal myFISV2012 page to process your payment.

Please note that on site registrations can be paid only in cash.

Guidelines for Abstracts

Abstracts are accepted exclusively during registration or, after registration, through your personal myFISV2012 page (you will need to register to have access to the latter).

Only one abstract per participant is allowed. The abstract should be submitted by the presenting author only. The abstract text must be no longer than 1200 characters, spaces included (which is roughly equivalent to 200-250 words).

The abstract submission deadline is 25 June 2012. The Scientific Committee will then review the received abstracts for oral or poster presentations. Participants will be notified of the abstract selections on 25 July 2012.

Submitted abstracts will be discarded if the corresponding registration payments are not received within 30 June 2012.

During the submission procedure authors can indicate a preference for poster or oral communications and to which of the following topics the abstract is destined:

Two speakers will be selected from the abstracts submitted to give an oral presentation during the Plenary Symposium "Non-coding RNA in cell function and diseases" on 26 September (see the programme). If you wish to be considered for this selection, please indicate it during abstract submission procedure.
